Live365 also has licenses with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers ("ASCAP"), Broadcast Music, Inc. ("BMI") and The Society of European Stage Authors and Composers ("SESAC"). These licenses allow broadcasters to stream licensed music on their stations.

Live365 is a member of the Digital Media Association (DiMA), the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), the Association for Independent Music (AFIM), the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS), and Collegiate Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI). Based in Foster City, California, Live365 pays royalties to labels, artists, songwriters and publishers.
